| Your Challenges

As a Mechanical Lead Engineer, you will be the point of contact for our clients regarding the entire mechanical engineering technical design. You will be responsible for leading the mechanical aspect of the design and supervising a team of designers. You will work closely with colleagues from various disciplines. Your tasks will include performing and verifying complex structural calculations, working within the existing quality systems and associated documentation (V-model), and staying up-to-date with the latest developments in the field.

| Requirements

  • You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, supplemented with extensive relevant work experience and company- and profession-specific training in engineering and project management.
  • You are a team player with strong interpersonal skills and experience in team leadership. Preferably, you have extensive experience in designing precision mechanical constructions, preferably in a high-vacuum environment.
  • You are familiar with current digital design systems and have experience with construction principles and tolerance analyses, such as Creo, Siemens NX, Solidworks, or Inventor.
  • You are proficient in both Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
  • Knowledge of or experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus.
