As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for selling paper materials to label customers in the European market. This includes negotiating prices and volumes, as well as signing quarterly or semi-annual contracts with customers.
Additionally, the role involves managing monthly sales targets, addressing daily shipping and logistics issues, staying informed about market supply and demand changes, and adapting strategies to enhance competitiveness. Regular communication with the Managing Director, as well as coordination with colleagues of the paper mill and headquarters in Korea, is essential for success in this position.

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in B2B sales in the paper or label industry.
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to build long-lasting relationships.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (additional European languages are a plus)
  • Experience in a Korean/ Asian organisation is a plus
  • Open to travel 1–2 times per month

    Our client is Korea’s largest paper production firm with offices in Asia, US and Europe with a variety of products including graphic paper, packaging paper, label paper, thermal paper, specialty paper, and biomaterials. Their European Head Office is based in Hoofddorp.
    What you’ll get in return
    In this role you will receive a 2-year contract (with the intention of indefinite afterwards) with a salary between €70.000 – €100.000 annual including Holiday allowance (8%). You will also receive lunch compensation and transportation allowance and will get the opportunity to receive a bonus based on targets (volume and profit).
